The Apartments Umalas were just perfect all around. Located in a safe place away from all the hustle and bustle this hidden gem offers everything to make your holiday the best you ever had! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you don't feel like going out for breakfast, lunch or dinner, no need. Apartments Umalas has a menu with a variety of mouthwatering Indonesian and Western meals, juices, cocktails etc. If you happen to get a juice, I can highly recommend the 'Too Good Juice'. Sooo delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful Indonesian style bathrooms and decorations. Two pools with lounges, surrounded by lots of greenery, guarantee for relaxed vibes all around. I loved the serenity of this place! Still it's only a short drive away from the beach and all the hip cafes, restaurants and shops in Seminyak. You will not go wrong booking your stay at The Apartments Umalas! :)
Friendly staff, quiet area, bright and spacious rooms, delicious meals.
The internet wasn't working in the area while I was staying there which could not be controlled by the owner.

The room at Umalas was beyond my expectations, with ample space and a comfortable bed. The breakfast bowl was not only delicious but also filling. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure to assist us with any questions we had. The highlight was definitely the pools and sunbeds, providing the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun.
While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the distance from downtown and the lack of walkable businesses, renting a scooter easily solved this issue. Additionally, the towel and bedding change every two days might be a bit infrequent for some.

The value for money at this hotel is fantastic. You get a lot for what you pay, including the basic amenities you need and a lovely room set in a beautiful garden. The location is also great if you want to ride a motorcycle or take a cab to explore the surrounding areas, such as Paddy fields or the islands off Bali. And let’s not forget about the breakfast, which is included and really big.
All in all, everything was great.

My recent Thanksgiving stay at this beautiful boutique hotel was splendid! The rooms were amazingly decorated with soft linen and a comfortable bed. One of the best aspects was the incredible outdoor private seating area, perfect for relaxing while admiring the lovely pool. the location was great, offering easy access to many things to explore. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden with its fantastic pools, while the hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and outgoing, ensuring I had a pleasant stay.
I would have appreciated having more flexibility in transportation, as scooters seemed necessary to drive to most places, including the beach and restaurants. While scooter rental was arranged without any hassle, it would have been desirable to have alternative modes of transportation available just in case.

The Christmas dinner was well-prepared, and the hotel had a decorated tree in the lobby, which created a festive atmosphere. the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. the hotel is located near a main road, which made it easy to catch a taxi.
The hotel could benefit from some updates. the bathroom looked outdated and the showerhead was rusty.
